Frequently Asked Questions

How are LeafSock compression socks different?

LeafSock puts fit and everyday choice first, with wide-calf knee-high styles, ankle socks and open-toe options in a range of colors.

Start with your measurements, then compare coverage and fabric to find your pair. Explore our wide calf compression socks and use the size chart for the style you choose.

What if my LeafSock socks do not fit?

If the size isn't right, tell us within 60 days and we'll send a new size free — no return needed, one replacement per order.

For a damaged, defective or incorrect item, contact us within 14 days of delivery. Please review the policy's condition requirements before opening, wearing or washing your socks.

Does the foot fit change with the sock size?

For knee-high styles, choose by calf measurement. The top band changes from M to 3XL; the foot stretches to fit. M fits up to US W9.5 / M7.5 / EU 40. If your shoe size exceeds the limit for your calf-matched size, contact us before ordering; do not size up beyond your calf range. Above US W12 / M10.5 / EU 43, contact us before ordering rather than sizing up again.

Ankle socks use two fits: Regular fit (M/L) and Wide fit (XL/2XL), not calf or shoe-size bands. Use our compression socks size guide to choose your style and fit.

How long should I wear my compression socks?

Follow the wearing instructions for your pair and any advice from your healthcare professional; there is no single number of hours that suits everyone. Do not sleep in compression socks unless a qualified healthcare professional has advised you to do so.

Remove them if you experience pain, numbness, skin-color changes or worsening discomfort, and seek medical advice.

How much compression do LeafSock socks provide, and how should they feel?

Our current bamboo knee-high styles list 15–20 mmHg compression, while our ankle compression socks list 14 mmHg. Always check the specification for your chosen pair.

The fit should feel snug and supportive, not painful or bunched. If you have been prescribed compression or are unsure which level is appropriate, ask a qualified healthcare professional before use.

How do I wash my LeafSock socks?

For our current bamboo knee-high and ankle styles, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then air dry.

Always follow the care label supplied with your pair if it gives different instructions. Check the product page before washing a different style.

Which LeafSock style is right for me?

Choose knee-high socks for calf coverage, open-toe socks to leave your toes uncovered, or ankle socks for a shorter profile.

Then choose your color: explore classic shades or our pastel collection. Browse women's compression socks and check your preferred style's size and compression level before ordering.

How do I choose socks for wide calves or between sizes?

Measure the widest part of both calves and compare the measurements with your chosen style's size chart. Don't size down just to make the socks feel tighter.

If you fall between sizes, take the larger size — you're covered by the 60-day fit guarantee. Still unsure? Use the size guide's finder, or email us both calf measurements and the style you want.

How does the subscription work?

Both pairs are the same product. Choose the size and color of Pair 1 and Pair 2 independently. Bamboo and Pastels are $17 per pair; Toeless and Ankle are $14.50 per pair, every 2 months. Two or more subscription pairs ship free to the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, on the first and recurring shipments. A one-pair subscription pays the local standard shipping rate.

Use the Manage subscription link in your subscription email to manage future orders. You can skip an upcoming order, pause or cancel future renewals, and change size or color within the same product before the next charge. If a control or link is unavailable, email info@leafsock.com for help.
